Paradoxically, being a remarkable person means letting go of all concern for the good opinion of others. The moment we
no longer act out of a need of approval and recognition is the moment that we will truly allow ourselves to shine. When we leave behind our concern for what the rest of the world thinks we become truly free and we flourish. In this state of radiant, authentic happiness people are naturally drawn to our energy. By following our hearts and doing what is right to us we will attract to ourselves the kind of people with which we can share more value than ever before. The ones who admire the courage with which we live and who are courageous themselves.
So today think about the ways in which you are your authentic self. How are you living out your truth and who helps you do that most? Surround yourself with people who are fearlessly true to themselves. When we embody that fearlessness we inspire others to live the lives of their dreams.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” - Marianne Williamson
